Our Story

Technology is our advantage. Books, our passion.

Lantia started as a technology company. We began archiving XML and creating metadata when the Internet first started, at that time only large financial institutions and energy companies had the resources to use and understand the benefits of structured data.

We understand the publishing industry. Some of our major advantages are:

  • Profound knowledge of the sophisticated technological changes as well as the mechanics of the current publishing industry.
  • One central place where you can find the main technology members of the publishing industry for both the USA and Europe.
  • Authentic passion to bring more and more books to the general public.

Our History

Lantia Publishing started in 2013 in Seville at the hands of Enrique Parrilla and Chema García.

The company is located in Seville, which is also home to its production center, Madrid, Houston and New York.

The nucleus of the business centers around software which is integral to the management of book publishing and all of the production processes of the business.

The base software of the platform is web management that allows a publisher to take absolute control of the contents and the associated digit business providing solutions for the entire design and layout, and even publishing different versions and formats. In addition, the platform connects to providers, distributers and integrates metadata and different marketing tools that can be used to promote books.

Lantia Publishing has become the technological partner of publishers so that they can continue to dedicate themselves to their primary business: discovering, selecting, improving content and making it available to the public at large.

The spearhead project is an algorithm (patent pending in the USA) that predicts sales in order to identify future best-selling publications.

Pentian establishes a relation between authors and readers, allowing the readers to financially support specific works that they believe will be successful and have the possibility to reap benefits. Moreover, these books can be ready to sell worldwide in less than a month.

Paulo Coelho and Lantia

The Brazilian bestselling author, Paulo Coelho, has joined the movement of publishing on demand with Lantia Publishing. At the beginning of 2015, his literary agent, Sant Jordi Associates, contacted the Seville publishing house to launch two short novels, ‘El don supremo’ and ‘Como el rio que fluye’ that were only available on Kindle.

In the agreement between the literary agency for the Brazilian author and Lantia, Ricoh played an important role. Ricoh is a company specialized in printing, production and document management that has its headquarters in Tokyo and operates in more than 200 countries.
